Application runtimes
Windows 11 Home build 26200, Node 22.22, Python 3.13.5, Java 23.0.2, Git, FFmpeg, and CMake are available.
The earlier assessment assumed a Node-only environment and covered three videos. This audit includes Nate Herk's twelve examples and checks the actual Windows machine. Java, Python, WSL, FFmpeg, CMake, and Docker are present. Accounts, licensed game assets, model latency, and GPU memory are the remaining boundaries.
Verified on this machine · updated 20 September 2026Command-line checks distinguish an installed executable from a working service. Docker Desktop is installed but its Linux engine was stopped during the audit; WSL 2 and Ubuntu are configured but stopped. Both are start-up tasks, not architectural blockers.

Intel i5-12450H, 8 cores / 12 threads, 31.7 GiB RAM, and 156.8 GB free disk are ample for Jev calls, browser tests, local game servers, and replay processing.
WSL 2 has Ubuntu and Docker Desktop distributions. Docker's client is installed; the daemon was not running. Start Docker Desktop before any self-hosted service.
The RTX 3050 Laptop GPU reports 4 GiB VRAM. CARLA states a 6 GiB minimum and recommends an RTX 2070-class GPU with 8 GiB. This is the decisive local constraint.
“Yes” means a faithful local prototype can be built now. “Conditional” means the code is feasible but a private account, licensed asset, or live data source must be supplied. “Reduced” preserves the decision problem while lowering scale or visual fidelity. Projects already present in the three repositories are omitted except where the video version is materially broader.
| Project from videos | Verdict | Why | Faithful local scope |
|---|---|---|---|
| Minecraft: frontier planner + Jev actor | Yes | Node and Java are installed; Mineflayer supports a local/offline server and browser viewer. | One local world, text state, bounded actions, browser view, recorded planner handoffs. No Minecraft purchase is required for a bot-only offline server. |
| Doom in real time | Implemented | ViZDoom 1.3.0 runs on Python 3.13 with its bundled Freedoom assets. The measured three-level suite is in doom/. | Aim training, multi-attacker defense, and corridor navigation now expose increasingly large action spaces. The first two harder trials defeated Jev; asynchronous reflex control remains a later experiment. |
| Super Smash Bros. Melee | Conditional | Windows and the hardware are adequate. Slippi, current libmelee, and an NTSC-U/J 1.02 game image are required; none was found locally. | High-level tactics at a low cadence over frame state. Frame-perfect Jev control is incompatible with network model latency. A legally obtained game image is a hard prerequisite. |
| Tesla-style driving in CARLA | No, as shown | CARLA's documented minimum is 6 GiB VRAM; this GPU has 4 GiB. Source builds also need about 170 GB free, more than the current 156.8 GB. | Keep the existing lane simulator, or run CARLA on a larger GPU machine and send only compact state to Jev. |
| Flight-search browser agent | Yes, bounded | Playwright supports Windows 11 and Node 22. Dynamic travel sites and bot defenses make a general agent unreliable. | One named site or a controlled travel fixture, visible browser, fixed search task, trace and screenshot evidence. |
| Hundreds of adversarial browser agents | Reduced | The software works locally, but one laptop is not a browser farm. Capacity must be measured rather than guessed. | Start with 5 concurrent contexts against the local applications; increase until CPU, RAM, or error-rate thresholds fail. |
| Sentry security pipeline | Conditional | A cloud Sentry project or a running self-hosted instance is needed for live events. Docker is installed but stopped. | Build against recorded Sentry-shaped events first, then connect a user-owned project. The current log monitor already proves the classifier core. |
| X-feed attention classifier extension | Conditional | A Manifest V3 extension and Jev backend are straightforward. Live validation needs an X login and DOM changes will require maintenance. | Label visible posts as breaking, useful, low-information, or other; cache by post ID; show confidence and latency. |
| YouTube-comment triage | Yes locally | The decision work is ordinary text classification. Live ingestion needs a YouTube API key or exported comments. | Evaluate reply-worthiness, sentiment, video-idea potential, and question difficulty over a labelled fixture before attaching an API. |
| Community / Skool routing | Yes locally | The classifier is buildable; live ingestion depends on community access and the platform interface. | Route anonymized sample posts for help, churn risk, staff attention, expertise, and testimonial strength. |
| Meeting-quality analyzer | Yes | It consumes transcript text. FFmpeg is present if audio extraction is later needed. | Per-meeting predicates and scores first; use a frontier model only to synthesize trends over Jev's structured outputs. |
| Video-clip selection | Yes | FFmpeg can extract candidates; Jev can cheaply rank transcript windows. A stronger model should propose semantic boundaries. | Candidate timestamps, stand-alone score, hook strength, screen-needed flag, quotable-line flag, and rendered preview sheet. |
| Contract screening | Yes, triage only | Local text/PDF extraction and fixed questions are sufficient. | Flag clause presence and route risks for capable-model or lawyer review. Do not present the output as legal advice. |
| Job screening | Yes | Works with exported listings; live scraping is unnecessary for proving the decision layer. | Minimum-requirements gate, role category, fit score, red flags, and held-out labelled cases. |
| Lead qualification | Yes | The existing sort and email patterns already supply most of the machinery. | Qualified flag, quality score, red flags, and next-step route over synthetic or exported CRM rows. |
| Brain-dump router | Yes | Text routing is immediate; voice can be added through local speech-to-text or browser recording. | Route transcribed notes into task, idea, journal, deadline, priority, and life-domain fields without writing to external apps initially. |
| Broader customer-support routing | Yes | The email triage repository already proves the core path. | Add sentiment, urgency, refund, technical issue, escalation, and destination; validate against labelled held-out tickets. |
| Real-time Bitcoin trader | Paper replay only | Market data and a one-second decision loop are feasible. No source demonstrated calibrated predictive value, and no broker account is present. | Timestamped historical replay with transaction costs, no-lookahead rules, calibration, and a baseline. No real-money execution layer. |
The order maximizes new evidence about Jev instead of adding more variants of text classification already demonstrated by email triage, sort, logs, and routing.
The suite progresses from aiming to multi-attacker defense and corridor combat. It compares Jev, deterministic rules, and random control while recording game state, latency, cost, and failures.
It tests Astra planning, Jev action selection, recovery from failed actions, long-horizon state, and a visually inspectable world.
It makes low-latency classification visible in a real interface. Build and test first against saved post fixtures; attach to a live feed only after the classifier is credible.
It turns spoken or pasted thoughts into structured destinations. The first version needs only text input and a local JSON export.
The project inventory comes from the four saved transcripts in jev_collection. Machine facts come from local commands. Software claims below link to primary documentation. Build estimates and the recommended order are engineering judgments.
