JEV PROJECTS

Real persistent Codex session · recorded 2026-09-20

Watch Jev stop an incomplete Codex task.

Codex intentionally omits a requested behavior test. When Codex tries to finish, Jev evaluates the request, Git diff and test evidence, reports two findings in 988 ms, and sends Codex back to repair the work. The second Jev review is clean in 581 ms.

1. Deliberate omission

Codex creates the utility and basic tests but omits the direct trailing-whitespace behavior test on its first completion attempt.

2. Jev blocks completion

Jev reports behavior_untested at 0.83 and task_incomplete at 0.78, so the Stop hook resumes Codex.

3. Codex repairs

Codex adds the missing test, reruns the suite and receives a clean second Jev review.

Editing disclosure: 6.9 seconds containing an unrelated Docker Desktop error popup were removed. The coding work, first Jev decision, Codex repair and second Jev decision remain in their original order. The source recording was compressed from 105.5 MB to 5.0 MB for browser playback.
